University of Alaska AI Symposium — Sharon Jackson on IMCC and AI

About the event

The Second UA Statewide AI Symposium explores artificial intelligence’s impact on Alaska’s economy, workforce, communities, and schools through public panels, demonstrations, and a keynote.

IMCC appearance: September 25, 2026.
Location: University of Alaska Anchorage, Anchorage, Alaska.

Friday’s public programming runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a keynote at 7:00 p.m., Alaska time. Daytime sessions are in CPISB 120; the keynote is in ART 220. Admission is free, registration is encouraged, and most sessions are also available online.

The full symposium continues September 26–27 with university-focused sessions. Sharon’s specific speaking time will be shared when available.
