Membership Questions
Clear answers before you join.
Who may join IMCC?
Anyone who is at least 18 years old may join IMCC. Select your membership level, complete payment, and receive immediate access to all features and benefits included with that level.
Can I change my membership level later?
Yes. A membership-level change takes effect immediately. Stripe calculates any prorated charge or account credit from the unused portion of the current level and the remaining portion of the new level before you confirm the change.
Do members have voting rights?
No. IMCC membership does not provide voting rights. No membership level grants voting authority over the Board, corporate governance, organizational decisions, programs, working groups, or advocacy activities.
How do renewals and cancellations work?
During signup, you must choose either Manual Renewal or Automatic Renewal; neither option is selected automatically. You may cancel through your membership account or by submitting a verified request to IMCC. You may choose to end access immediately or continue using your membership until the end of your current paid term. Cancellation stops future renewals. No refund is provided for unused membership time.
What is the refund policy?
All membership payments are final and nonrefundable. The only exception is a verified duplicate payment, in which case the duplicate amount will be refunded. Cancellation, nonuse, or ending access before the membership term expires does not qualify for a refund.
How do the introductory first-year savings work?
The introductory savings program operates separately for each membership level. The first 50 members joining a level receive 50% off their first year. The next 40 receive 40% off, the next 30 receive 30% off, the next 20 receive 20% off, and the next 10 receive 10% off. Beginning with the 151st member at that level, the regular annual price applies. Savings apply only to the first membership year.
