Ronnie D. Woodard is a strategic and transformational executive with more than 30 years of progressive leadership experience across aerospace and defense, healthcare, government, construction, and private-sector organizations. Throughout his career, he has led complex operations, strategic initiatives, multimillion-dollar programs, and high-performing cross-functional teams while aligning organizational resources with mission-critical objectives. His expertise encompasses strategic planning, operational excellence, financial stewardship, enterprise risk management, organizational transformation, performance management, and stakeholder engagement. Woodard is recognized for translating organizational vision into actionable strategies, establishing performance-driven cultures, and using data, analytics, and key performance indicators to improve organizational effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
As a senior leader, Woodard has managed portfolios involving billions of dollars in assets and hundreds of millions of dollars in budgets. In his current role as Senior Principal Project Manager with Northrop Grumman, he leads complex aerospace and infrastructure initiatives, integrating strategic objectives, financial controls, procurement, risk management, performance metrics, and cross-functional execution. Previously, he served in executive leadership roles supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, including directing the integration of Fort Richardson and Elmendorf operations and managing more than $40 million in logistics, supply chain, contracts, and operational requirements. He also led 30 major programs supporting $3.2 billion in assets while administering a $400 million budget. His leadership produced measurable results, including increasing organizational compliance from 45% to 100% within six months and improving workforce retention by 50% in a healthcare environment.
Woodard combines operational leadership with a strong commitment to people, organizational culture, and leadership development. He has advised and mentored more than 15,000 veterans transitioning into the civilian workforce and has extensive experience in talent development, workforce planning, executive coaching, performance management, and organizational change. He holds an MBA from Wayland Baptist University, a Master of Human Relations Development from the University of Oklahoma, and bachelor's degrees in Human Resources Management and Business Management/Administration from the University of Mount Olive. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Healthcare Administration at Walden University and has completed executive leadership and CEO development through UC Berkeley. Woodard is also a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and holds a Top Secret clearance with SAP and Full Polygraph eligibility.
